The LSU AgCenter’s Jefferson Parish office will hold an open house on Wednesday, Feb. 9, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

The new office is located in the Joseph S. Yenni Building at 1221 Elmwood Park Blvd., Suite 300, in Jefferson, where the staff moved in November 2010.

“The public is invited to come and learn more about who we are, what we do and how we can serve them,” Alexis Navarro, LSU AgCenter extension agent, said.

The open house program will include welcoming remarks by Jefferson Parish President John F. Young and Council Chairman Thomas Capella.

Words of appreciation from the LSU AgCenter will be given by Navarro and Bobby Fletcher, LSU AgCenter regional director.

Light refreshments will be served.
