LSU AgCenter sets feral hog seminar for Sept. 28 in Benton

The LSU AgCenter will present a feral hog seminar Sept. 28 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the police jury meeting room in the Bossier Parish Courthouse in Benton.

The program will include presentations on the history and biology of feral hogs by LSU AgCenter wildlife specialist Don Reed, new laws by Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries biologist Jared Hughes and control options by wildlife biologist Walter Cotton with the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service.

There is no charge for the meeting, but people interested in attending are requested to RSVP by calling 318-965-2326.
